Dr.Heidi Fu,RN,LAc.,DAOM.,傅艳中醫博士
grew up in China, and came from traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) family background. At age 17 she was admitted to the Chinese Air Force Medical School and studied both Eastern and Western Medicine, she is a California Board licensed Acupuncturist (LAc.), Herbalist and Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine who studied both Eastern and Western medicine. She holds a Bachelors degree in Nursing (RN) and The Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) from the Air Force Medical University in China and Five Branches University in California.
Dr. Fu completed her clinical training at the Air Force General Hospital in Beijing and multiple TCM universities in China, and Five Branches University in California, Zhe Jiang Chinese Medical University in Huang Zhou China, Zhe Jiang Chinese Medicine Hospital in Haung Zhou China, HuNan Chinese Medicial Hospital China and Nan Jing Qin Huai Chinese Medicine Hospital in Nan Jing China. She practices TCM with compassion. She loves having positive impact on people's lives. She is a Pain and Fertility Specialist, a professional Member of RESOLVE - The National Infertility Association, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and a Certified American Heart Association CPR instructor.

Dr. Fu has more than 17 years of clinical experience treating patients ranging from ages 3 to 87 years old. She has treated a wide spectrum of health issues with great success. Specific interests include women's health, infertility, Men's Health, pain management and mental wellbeing. She endorses facial cosmetic acupuncture treatment as a natural alternative to Botox.
Dr. Fu believes in an individual and integrated approach to each patient, enhancing the body's natural ability to heal through a positive lifestyle, healthy diet, and personal development. In Western Medicine the body is seen as a machine, you try to fix a broken part or take it out. In Chinese Medicine, the body is seen as a garden. If the leaves are wilting or turning brown, you examine the condition of the soil, see if the plant is getting enough water & sun or if the roots are being impinged upon.
